Call for Projects: Luminale 2014

The 7th Luminale (3/30 to 4/4/2014) Westermann Kommunikation prepares in commission of Messe Frankfurt. Now the registration procedure begins with the pre-registration. Till the middle of September those can announce themselves which would like to realise a Luminale project. Exhibitors of the Light+Building, designers and architect, artists and developer, students and free initiatives use the Biennial of Light Culture as their stage and platform. Since 2002 more than 840 single projects have originated within Luminale. International careers have begun with a Luminale project. In 2014 Frankfurt also becomes again the world city of the light. 196,000 experts (Light+Building, 2012) from all over the world travel to the Frankfurt to get to know the new and the innovators. You find further informations and documents on www.luminale.de. If you want to request for documents or have inquiries – best of all by mail. Personally you meet us, for example, during the evening event of the German Light Design Awards on the 16th of May in the palm garden society house.

Westermann Kommunikation – 20 Years ago from Berlin to Rhine-Hessia

Katja von Puttkamer, artist from Ingelheim, has painted the agency’s domicil of Westermann Kommunikation on the occassion of the 20-year jubilee. The Citroen CV (“the duck”) is our most loved vehicle to explore the Rhine-Hessian landscapes, wineyards and villages. Westermann Kommunikation was founded in 1991 in Berlin, then moved to Frankfurt/Main, Wiesbaden and, finally, in 1993 to Ingelheim. In the countryside we realised the concept of living + labor under one roof in a former bakery.
